THE VAMPIRES

Shot Of Rhythm ´n` Soul 10" Break 003

Four previously unreleased 1967 recordings from the master tapes by german 60´s band. The band was most popular in germany and spain where they released a number of 45s and Eps, before evolving into progressive band Evolution.

"Mid-paced blues-soul with a strong rasping vocal reminiscent of Graham Bond or the Alan Bown Set. Much closer to Stax than the uptown pop sophistication of Motown."

Paul Martin review for "Shindig E.Group"
