THE TROUP Going Away With the Troup 10" - Break 004
|
|
The Troup
were a local garage band from smalltown Indiana that existed from 1966
until '68. They released a scant two 45s, and are mainly appreciated for
their boss teen-punker 'I'm Going Away'. Although both singles were released
in early 1968, they echo back to the pure garage sound of the mid-'60s.
The group disbanded soon after the records came out and both 45s are sought
after among garage collectors. Break-A-Way Records is proud to provide
all four sides of the Troup on one platter nearly 35 years after their
original release.
